Robowars
Robots, an arena, and a great deal of noise. Teams build a machine and try to outlast everyone else's.
Runs a category at PsiFi.
What we do
Robowars is about one thing: whether a robot survives contact with another. Teams design, build and drive their own machines through rounds that reward good engineering as much as good instincts.
Some rounds test precision and some test nerve. Sumowars, robot against robot in direct combat, draws a crowd. All of them test whether a robot can do what its builders promised.
