HackX
An open-ended hackathon for university students, running alongside PsiFi at LUMS. Pick a problem, then build something that works.
Runs a category at PsiFi.
What we do
HackX has no set tracks. Teams of university students choose their own problem, in AI, health, climate, robotics, finance or anything else, and build a working product over the course of PsiFi.
Mentors from industry help teams narrow a broad idea into something they can build and demonstrate in the time. The advice that comes up most: a prototype that works beats an ambitious one that is half finished. Teams finish by demonstrating their product live to a panel of judges.
